Sweet scents just before dawn

Sweet scents just before dawn

There are moments in time when things are not exactly where we want them to be but when all is well. The hours before dawn are priceless for me. My senses are particularly sharp and are easily aroused by the memories of days and years gone. This morning I had another one of those moments after I drafted the 6th chapter of “Strong Memories of…” My senses were aroused by a strong sweet scent that I first recognized over 25 years ago. My brain immediately connected to that special time when I was sixteen and sent off the most beautiful biological reaction.

Every woman should be able to identify the sweet scents of passion because they can make all the difference in the world. A woman who is able to discern the sweet scents of passion is in control of her environment and exudes confidence. She starts her day off smelling nature and the break of a new day. Regardless of where she rises in the world she is able to tell what the day is going to be like. If she rises in the hills of Cascade she is awakened by the pure scent of ginger lilies. If she rises by the rocky cliffs along Lucea’s historical buildings and takes a walk by Watson Taylor Drive in 1976 she is awakened by the raw scent of the morning sea.

Intense scents of eucalyptus, mint and chamomile are heightened by memories hold dear; scents that permeate the air but are recognizable only by you. These scents give you peace, relevance, contentment, and protection even in times of uncertainty.

All women should be able to recognize the sweet scents of attraction…when people want to be your friend; when people want to be close to you; and when estranged people long for you. This potential power will take you to a higher level if you allow your sense of smell to rule. You will be able to smell the mood of someone on the phone or via the internet. Your dreams will be sweet smelling and will come alive so much so that you will experience the most powerful biological feelings just before dawn and take them through the day. You will be compelled to write and write and write.

My wish is that all women will experience these sweet scents just before dawn.
